Mari's New Life
It's finally here! my last week of school, and I couldn’t be more excited to graduate! I’ve been looking forward to this moment for so long, and now that it’s right around the corner, it feels surreal. I’ve got my whole schedule planned out, and every day is packed with different exciting moments
Tomorrow, I start with a senior grad party at work. It’s a great way to celebrate with my coworkers and start the week on a fun note.
Monday is my much-needed rest day before everything gets crazy.
Tuesday is Senior Field Day, which I’m really looking forward to. It’s going to be a day full of games and hanging out with my friends. Afterward, I’ll head to work in the afternoon.
Wednesday is a huge day. I’ll be waking up early to get ready for my Senior Walk. It starts with a final walk through my high school—one last chance to take it all in. Then, I’ll visit my old middle school and elementary school to do a final walk around there too. It’s such a meaningful tradition and a full-circle moment for me. I’m still deciding whether to go to work that evening or take the night off to attend Senior Sunset, a beautiful way to close this chapter with friends.
Thursday is officially my last day of school, and it’s going to be a relaxed one. It’s Movie Day for the seniors, which sounds like the perfect way to wind down. I’ll be working that day too, so it’ll be busy but fun.
Then comes the most exciting day! Graduation! I think that’s when it’s really going to hit me all at once that I’m done with school and moving on to the next chapter of my life. It’s a big mix of emotions I'm currently feeling but its overall so so exciting.
